Carat Perfect Return Policy

At Carat Perfect, we take pride in the craftsmanship and care behind each of our pieces. If your order isn’t quite right, we’re here to help. Please review the details of our return policy below.

⏳ Return Window

All eligible items may be returned within 15 days of the date your order is shipped. This return window applies even if you request a later delivery date. Returns requested after this window will not be accepted.

✅ Eligibility Requirements

• Items must be in original, unworn condition
• All original documentation must be included (e.g., diamond certificates)
• Items must not have been altered, damaged, or serviced by third-party jewelers
• Canceling an order during production is considered a return and subject to this policy

🔁 Return Frequency

• Customers may return a maximum of one item every 45 days
• A second purchase return will be eligible for:
  • 100% store credit, or
  • A refund with a 20% restocking fee

📄 Certified Diamond Returns

Certified diamonds must be returned with their original certification document. If the certificate is missing, a $250 replacement fee will be deducted from the refund.

🚚 Return Shipping

• U.S. Orders: Return shipping is included
• International Orders:
  • Canada: $150 USD
  • Rest of World: $350 USD

Duties and taxes are non-refundable. All returns must be shipped from the original delivery address.

Once your return is received and verified, your refund will be issued to your original payment method within 5 business days. Depending on your bank, it may take an additional 3–7 business days for the refund to appear in your account.

🚫 Non-Returnable Items & Conditions

• Sample Sale items are final sale
• Fine jewelry that has been personalized (such as name necklaces) is non-returnable
• Jewelry or rings with damage (chips, scratches, breaks, nicks) are not eligible for return
• Rings or loose diamond orders with a lost or damaged center diamond are not eligible for return
• Jewelry that has been resized, repaired, or worked on by a third-party jeweler is not eligible for return
• All Carat Perfect jewelry features a permanent micro-engraving to confirm authenticity. Any tampering or outside modifications will void return eligibility
• Jewelry with custom-cut stones is returnable with a $500 restocking fee
• Rush order service fees are non-refundable
